A love for the outdoors is a lifelong passion, and for our client George, it’s a passion he’s worked incredibly hard to return to. Before his stroke in 2022, George was an avid cyclist and a true nature enthusiast. He spent countless hours exploring the great outdoors, with Kielder Forest being one of his favourite haunts, especially for mushroom picking.
George’s journey to regain his independence and mobility has been nothing short of inspiring. Recently, he achieved a significant milestone by taking a special day trip back to the place he loves most: Kielder Forest. Accompanied by our dedicated staff, George revisited his favourite mushroom-picking spots, a place filled with cherished memories.
