Once you apply for a role at Unity

If your application stands out, we’ll be in touch to arrange an interview. To help us get the process started, we ask that you bring the following documents with you:

  • Proof of Identity:
    Three to four forms of identification, such as a passport, driving license, birth certificate, or a recent utility bill/bank statement (mobile phone bills are not accepted).
  • Care Qualifications:
    Any relevant care certificates, diplomas, or NVQs, along with all your mandatory training certificates.
  • DBS Information:
    Your current DBS number or DBS certificate.
  • References:
    Three references, which should include at least two from previous employers and one character reference.

The interview typically lasts around one hour, and we’ll let you know about the outcome either on the day or shortly after. If it’s a success, we will book your induction and enrol you in our comprehensive training program. Your final start date will be confirmed once your induction, mandatory training, DBS checks, and work shadowing have all been completed.
